England enforces ban on single-use plastic cutlery

Starting from Sunday, England will enforce a ban on certain single-use plastic items in an effort to combat litter and protect the environment. Plastic cutlery, balloon sticks, and polystyrene cups will no longer be provided by shops and hospitality businesses. This move comes as part of a broader objective to eliminate avoidable plastic waste by 2042.
