Christopher Nolan's film "Oppenheimer" has received the most nominations for this year's Bafta Film Awards, with a total of 13. The movie, which tells the story of physicist J Robert Oppenheimer, known as the father of the atomic bomb, has already won several awards including the Critics Choice and Golden Globe Awards. Cillian Murphy, who portrayed Oppenheimer in the film, is also nominated. Other movies receiving multiple nominations include "Barbie," "Poor Things," "Killers of the Flower Moon," and "The Zone of Interest." Despite its commercial success and positive reviews, "Barbie" did not receive a nomination for Best Film. Greta Gerwig was also left off the shortlist for Best Director, which only includes one female, Justine Triet. The Bafta Film Awards 2024 will take place on February 18th in London and will be hosted by David Tennant.
