The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office is swiftly investigating the case in order to bring justice to the victims. The causes of death remain unknown and crucial details, such as the identities and ages of the deceased, have not been disclosed by the sheriff's office. The police were alerted to the incident when they received a wellness check call. Upon arrival, they found five bodies near an SUV and a minivan. Aerial footage of the scene depicts the SUV with a shattered window, bullet holes, and signs of a fire. Due to the remote location, assistance from the California Highway Patrol's aviation division was needed to locate the exact scene. The sixth body was discovered the following morning.
