Apple will no longer sell its latest watches in the US after being found guilty of patent rights infringement. An order preventing the sales and imports of watches with the disputed blood oxygen feature is set to take effect on 26 December. While Apple plans to appeal the decision, it will remove the devices from its US website on 21 December and from stores in the country after Christmas Eve. The issue stems from a dispute with medical device companies Masimo and Cercacor, which have accused Apple of stealing their technology and poaching key staff. Sales of Apple watches elsewhere will not be affected by the order.
