Annabel Giles, a TV presenter and actress, has died at the age of 64 after being diagnosed with a brain tumour in July. She was known for her roles in the children's show Razzmatazz and the film Riders, as well as being a model for cosmetics brand Max Factor. Giles underwent brain surgery and radiotherapy treatment before her death, and her children, Molly and Tedd, paid tribute to their "incredible mother" who they described as "one of a kind." Giles was also recognized for her appearance in the reality show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and ITV's Posh Frocks And New Trousers with Sarah Greene. Born in Griffithstown, near Pontypool, Giles was determined to raise awareness of the stage 4 glioblastoma she was diagnosed with in her final weeks, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others. She had also worked as a counsellor and was the resident agony aunt on BBC Wales's Eleri Sion radio show. Colleagues and friends praised Giles' warmth, wisdom, humor, and wit, and she was remembered as a beautiful, funny, and clever person. Giles was previously married to Midge Ure, the lead singer of Ultravox and founder of Band Aid and Live Aid.
