According to health authorities in France, over 700 employees of Airbus Atlantic, a subsidiary of Airbus, became sick after the company's Christmas dinner. The workers at the aerospace group's site in western France experienced symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea, as reported by the ARS health agency. The exact cause of the food poisoning is unknown, and Airbus has not yet responded to inquiries regarding the incident. The ARS agency did not disclose specific details about the food that may have caused the illness, but it did mention that diners displayed symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea. An investigation is currently underway to determine the source of the mass food poisoning. Airbus Atlantic employs around 15,000 people across five countries, while the wider Airbus group provides products and services in various industries and has a total workforce of 134,000 individuals. In a separate incident earlier this year, individuals fell ill and one person died from botulism, a rare food-borne illness, after dining at a restaurant in Bordeaux, France.
